2012 Seniors

How much does a Stylized Senior session cost?
I like to make things real simple. My sessions are all inclusive $425. This will include twenty-five to thirty custom artistic images on a high resolution disc with print release to all images.

What can I expect to happen in a session?
Sessions last typically around two hours. You get three outfit changes, and during the initial consultation over coffee at Starbucks (my treat), we'll go over outfits, settings, props and whatever comes to mind.  Together, we'll prepare as much as we possibly can in advance to ease whatever stresses you may have.  The day of the session should be nothing but a fun and enjoyable experience.

When should I book my session?
I started opening my books for Seniors this week. Since I only take four sessions a month, and Senior sessions are usually from June until October, to guarantee your spot it's important for you to book your session as soon as possible.  Email me skaiphotography@gmail.com to book your session!

Spring has Sprung {part III}

My motto, "You're only as good as you are willing to get." As for me I want to continue to get better. So I try to shoot for myself at least once a month to get my creative juices flowing, and to improve on areas that I find are in need of nurturing.  This shoot was to celebrate my favorite season, Spring, as well as to practice on getting my visions to materialize through my images. Big thanks goes to my lovely and oh so sweet models for pulling off the sweet, wholesome look I had envisioned for this shoot so perfectly.  Thank you so much ladies!

Happy Wednesday!

I'm really excited about this set of images. I've been working on my sharpening skills, and I think I finally have it down. I might be overdoing it though.  Do you think it is too much?  Some feedback would be greatly appreciated.  This is what's to come of the last of my Spring series.

Oh and by the way, I'm having such a lovely Wednesday! I could only hope everyone is enjoying their Wednesday as much as I am.  :)

For the Love of Spring {part II}

Just a little reminder, my family is my first priority so I take very limited sessions.  My time to devote myself to my passion and business will come, but at this point in my life, nothing is more important to me than to enjoy being a mommy to my two amazing children.  They truly are the best part of who I am.  And with my daughter approaching fourteen (I married young at the age of 19), I know too well how fast time flies.  With that said, I'm only available for four sessions a month.  And the majority of the sessions for summer and fall will be reserved for seniors.  If you are interested in other sessions (family, children, newborn, maternity), please contact me in advance for available dates.
